I found the hotel to have a decent location and helpful staff, but the overall experience was marred by the outdated facilities and cleanliness issues. My room, while spacious, had aging decor and wasn't particularly clean. I think with some renovations, this hotel could be a lot more enjoyable.

Rooms
5.0
My room was quite large with a king-sized bed and a sofa, but it felt like stepping back into the 70s. The balcony had good views of the distant ocean, although it was quite small and only had one chair. Unfortunately, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired with old carpeting that had a bad smell.
Service
6.0
The staff were very helpful and friendly, which made my stay a bit better. They were accommodating, but the locked refrigerator was a bit of a hassle.
Location
7.0
Though the hotel wasn't exactly in the center, it had a nice location surrounded by vegetation, making it quiet. It was a 20-minute walk to get to Haifa, which was pretty manageable.
Dining

I found the breakfast to be very good, offering a variety of options. However, my dinner experience was spoiled by finding a roach on the buffet table, which was quite off-putting.
Facilities

The hotel could really benefit from a renovation, as the facilities felt quite dated. The little spa was fully equipped, but overall, the hotel is in urgent need of updates.

I had a pleasant stay at Mount Carmel Hotel, with large, clean rooms and a homely feel. However, the decor was quite dated, reminding me of the early '80s, which might not appeal to everyone. Breakfast offered a unique selection that was a bit different from what I'm used to, but it was decent overall.

Rooms

I found my room to be spacious with a comfortable king-sized bed and clean linens. However, the furnishings were quite dated, giving it an old-school vibe from the 70s. The small balcony had a nice view over the trees to the ocean, but it could use some modern updates.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, which made my stay more enjoyable. However, accessing the refrigerator with cold beverages was a hassle since it was locked and only available with staff assistance.
Location

The hotel is in a decent location, though a bit removed from the center of Haifa. It's about a 20-minute walk to key attractions, which wasn't too bad for me.
Dining

Breakfast had a unique selection but included some interesting options like gray scrambled eggs, which I wasn't a fan of. I found the local flavors interesting, though a bit outside my comfort zone.
Facilities

There was a pool, but I didn’t get a chance to use it. The rest of the hotel felt rather retro and in need of modernization, especially the furnishings and fittings.

I had a pleasant stay at the Mount Carmel Hotel, with a comfortable room and a nice sea view, though the location was a bit further from the center than I initially expected. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I did note that the facilities could use some updates to meet expectations.

My room was large and comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, additional sofa, TV with many channels, and a lovely view of the sea, which was nice at sunset. It could have used a fridge for convenience.
Service

The staff were very helpful and friendly, making my experience enjoyable. However, I did have to ask for the refrigerator to be opened by an employee, which was a bit inconvenient.
Location

While the hotel is situated in a quiet area and surrounded by greenery, it's about a 20-minute walk to the central attractions, which might not suit everyone.

The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options that I appreciated during my stay. It was definitely a highlight.

The hotel offers a fully equipped little spa, which is a nice touch, but the overall facilities feel a bit dated and could use some improvements.

My stay at Mount Carmel Hotel was quite disappointing. the hotel feels like it's stuck in the 70s. While the views from my small balcony were pleasant, the overall condition of the room left much to be desired.

Rooms

The room was large but felt dated with old, stained furniture and a musty smell. even the carpet had its issues. I appreciated the comfortable king-sized bed, but the ambiance was quite sad overall.
Service

The service was a mixed bag. while the staff were friendly, my requests for a clean blanket were met with more stained ones. I felt quite let down by the lack of attention to cleanliness.
Location

The location is decent, about a 20-minute walk to the city center. but the immediate area wasn't particularly inviting. I found myself needing to travel a bit further for amenities.
Dining

Breakfast was quite poor. I expected more than just bad coffee and a lacking selection. It simply didn’t meet my expectations, especially for dining in Israel.
Facilities

Facilities are in desperate need of an update. the reception looked newly refurbished, but the rooms and common areas felt neglected, which was not what I had hoped for.

My stay at Mount Carmel Hotel in Haifa brought mixed feelings. While I found the location decent for exploring the city, the hotel itself felt quite dated and not very well maintained. The room was clean with crisp sheets, but lacked modern amenities, and breakfast left much to be desired.

The room I had was sizable and clean, although it was quite dated. the old carpet and furniture made it feel like stepping back into the 70s. I appreciated the large bathroom, but the overall decor really could use an update.

The staff were friendly and helpful, which I did appreciate. however, I ran into issues like getting a stained blanket, and the refrigerator was locked away. That made things a bit inconvenient.
Location

The hotel's location isn't exactly in the heart of Haifa, but it's a manageable 20-minute walk to many attractions. so it served my needs well enough for getting around.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was pretty basic and the coffee was disappointing. I did like some of the dining options available, but I expected more variety especially for a hotel.
